Our dachshund has always been very choosy. It started as a puppy when our neighbors dog sat him at their home during our vacation and added freshly grated parmesan cheese to his food bow,

13 years later that tradition continues.

He’s also been very finicky about his treats and these Chik ‘n and Sweet Potato chewables are just one of two treats that he has any interest in.

Our dachshund is now 13 years old and not quite as spry as he used to be. I knw there are those who will say that a pet doesn’t belong on furniture or a bed, but that discussion is for another time.

This pet ramp is stylish, sturdy and was very easily accepted and mastered by our often skittish dog.

It tops out at 19 inches and I’ve placed some cut down 2 by 4 inch pieces of wood to prop up the very top another 2 inches to be at the level of my recliner foot rest that is Laszlo’s favorite place to park himself during the daytime.

The outer fabric is removable and can be washed, but it has really stayed spotless for the 6 months that we’ve had it in use.

Back when we had a Golden Retriever he absolutely loved this bed.

I doubt that Murray knew that it was waterproof or that the outside covering was easily removed for laundering, but he must have known that it was comfortable and that it’s raised sides simulated the family sofa that he loved to lay on when he wasn’t laying on us.

Although this med is made for larger dogs our Tweenie dachshund, who comes in at 18 pounds didn’t read the advertisement and now he enjoys using it, especially if he’s tired out after a long play or exercise session.
